Project Partners:
The project aims at cross-sectoral cooperation (school, vocational, higher and adult education)
for experience exchange and results’ dissemination of classical and non-classical use of chess
play for soft skills’ development to strengthen social inclusion of vulnerable groups (prison
inmates, disabled, and immigrants).
This project harnesses the educational and cognitive benefits of chess to foster social inclusion, enhance soft skills, and improve employment opportunities for disadvantaged learners. Teachers will gain new methods and good practices to adapt education and training to learners’ needs, while improving their ability to use both classical and non-classical chess as teaching tools. Learners will receive engaging, higher-quality education that strengthens problem-solving, decision-making, and resource management skills, supporting their integration into the labor market and society. Partner organizations will collaborate to exchange good practices, develop innovative tools, and enhance their educational offers, increasing accessibility and learner engagement. At a regional level, the project will contribute to more efficient and inclusive education and training systems, ensuring that vulnerable groups have greater opportunities for sustainable growth and successful social integration.
